At the Airport !

May 2006: Dr.C.Thangsing AHF Asia Pacific Bureau Chief, at Rattanakiri Airport Terminal.

The drive from Stung Streng was just comfortable at 3 hours. We had a good visit with the officials at the Provincial Hospital in Rattanakiri. We visited the AIDS Control officer and also the facilities at the Hospital. Visited the TB ward and the VCT center. Soon, the days just went by and its time for us to get back to Phnom Penh. The thought of taking the almost 8 to 9 hours journey back by car was not that inviting. The flight for Phnom Penh - was much more attactive and soon we are at the Rattanakiri Airport. What you see behind me is the Airport lounge, administrative office. Nobody actually get lost in the Airport terminal but one can if not careful might just come head on with cattle in the runway.
