Enroute Rattanakiri!!

June 1 2006: The six hours ride to Stueng Streng was surprisingly comfortable and soon we were check into the best hotel available in the town. The meetings with the local PLHA group was the most captivating, most touching we had in Stueng Streng provincial headquarters. Meeting with the YWAM representative Joy was a joy for we learn much of what the team had done for people with HIVAIDS in the provinces. They had been reaching out to over 60 PLHAs through their community and home based care activities.

Then we took off for Rattanakiri Provinces headquarters 'Banlung' and the ride was refreshing and the deep jungles a welcome change to the concrete and busy, crowded streets of the big cities. We stop at a wayside restaurant in the jungle with miles and miles before we hit civilization.
